The good press must hold up for an entire lifetime

When you are comparing prices and models between different manufacturers, the most important fact is the diameter of rollers with the same bed width. The printing result is the better the larger the diameter of rollers.

A good press needs the power of 100 kg per every centimeter of the rollers width. A press of 100 cm printing width needs and must withstand power of 10.000 kg. It means that the construction of the press must be very strong and heavy.

Safety guards must be supplied and the lower roller driven through gearing. For beds the grinded steel is good, but must be hardened or very thick to prevent the warpage. Also the thick and same-diameter phenolic resin plate is good, because is very hard, but smooth to use.
